Will update with news soon.
Licence approved once again 2023-24. Great News.
Licence approved once again 2023-24. Great News.
In october 2017 we applied for a Council Breeder licence, we worked with our local dog warden and after just a few very minor tweeks (adding a white board with food and meds for the dogs in case we were ever taken ill!) and an inspection from an independent vet we were granted our licence. The vet was so happy with us he said he would certainly send any one looking for flatties to us. Nothing here will change but it's just another level of reasurance for families who come to us for a puppy that all is as it should be. The requirements for approving a license have become more stringent in recent but I'm pleased to say that we have had to make a very few tweeks (mostly regarding fabrics of buildings & equipment, so a plastic whelping box instead of wooden and the odd paperwork item, but once again we've had our licence renewed every year after our inspection.
If you have any questions, queries or comments about our dogs, puppies, web site or Flatcoat Retrievers, please contact us by telephone or email.
